Log Trailer and Poster in the Works

Hey guys!

Recently, Log has been doing great in screenplay competitions and even garnered some interest from producers in LA.

Now, I have the opportunity to shoot (and direct!) a concept trailer for Log which will be taken to AFM by a really great distributor from Toronto this fall.  Fingers crossed, this results in a pre-sale and we can shoot the full feature film sometime next year.

I’m also looking into other funding options, ie Telefilm, etc.  The script is still technically available and I have no doubt that it will be made, it’s just a matter of getting it into the right hands.

Check out the script here.

Alison Parker is an award-winning Canadian film director and screenwriter living in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Alison began her career as a sound engineer and editor. She then went on to build and run her own film studio. In 2010, Alison turned her focus to directing her own films.

Undeterred by the old adage, “Never work with children or animals,” Alison created a franchise of movies featuring children and animals. Her films have garnered a following of enthusiastic fans from all over the world and are available on iTunes, Amazon, ShortsHD, Vimeo on Demand and VHX through her distributor IndieCan Entertainment.

Alison’s credits include “Jake & Jasper: A Ferret Tale” , “The Magic Ferret,” which starred Jacob Tremblay in his first leading role, “Santa’s Little Ferrets” and “Dude, Where’s My Ferret?” featuring Mike Smith from The Trailer Park Boys.

Her screenplays range from family fare to gruesome horror comedy, thrillers to broad sports comedy. Most recently, her horror comedy screenplay Log has done well in several large screenwriting competitions, and a concept trailer is in the works to approach potential buyers at AFM.
